The first investigation into why a ring of senior Washington officials went rogue to derail the election and the presidency of Donald Trump.

There was nothing normal about the 2016 presidential election, not when senior US officials were turning the surveillance powers of the federal government - designed to stop terrorist attacks - against the Republican presidential team. These were the ruthless tactics of a Soviet-style police state, not a democratic republic.

The Red Thread asks the simple question Why? What is it that motivated these anti-Trump conspirators from inside and around the Obama administration and Clinton networks to depart so drastically from "politics as usual" to participate in a seditious effort to overturn an election?

Finding clues in an array of sources, Diana West uses her trademark investigative skills, honed in her dazzling work American Betrayal, to construct a fascinating series of ideological profiles of well-known but little-understood anti-Trump actors, from James Comey to Christopher Steele to Nellie Ohr and the rest of the Fusion GPS team; from John Brennan to the numerous Clintonistas still patrolling the Washington Swamp after all these years, and more.

Once, we knew these officials by august titles and reputation; after The Red Thread, listeners will recognize their multigenerational and interconnecting communist and socialist pedigrees and see them for what they really are foot soldiers of the left, deployed to take down America's first "America First" and most anti-communist president.

If we just give it a pull, the "red thread" is very long and very deep.

As the aftermath of the Mueller investigation begins, you need this book. Some pundits and observers of the political scene have observed that the Mueller investigation didn't come about because of any real concern about "Trump Russia collusion," it was manufactured to protect the deep state from a non-political interloper. The Red Thread A Search for Ideological Drivers Inside the AntiTrump Conspiracy Audible Audio Edition Diana West Books Reviews

  • Diana West follows the first rule when caught in a hall of mirrors Break all the mirrors.

This is an examination of the strange people -- Comey, Brennan, Christopher Steele among them -- who helped launch the endless attack on the Trump Presidency. What West finds is a common thread, a Red Thread in the old and normal sense of "red."

"Red Thread" is a remarkably honest, head-on response to the question, "who are these people?"
  • This short book dives into the formative eduction, training, philosophy, concept of justice, and economics of many of the people whose names have surfaced with the deep state investigation involving Trump. Looking at the red threads involved should have people talking about the current issues with more history and future impact. Read this book and do not skip the hundreds of notes and sources. Watch for the words socialism and communism to be used more in conversation. Read American Betrayal also.
  • I received my copy just a few days before the Mueller investigation closed shop. There is an old saying "You can't tell the players without a program." As the aftermath of the Mueller investigation begins, you need this book. Some pundits and observers of the political scene have observed that the Mueller investigation didn't come about because of any real concern about "Trump Russia collusion," it was manufactured to protect the deep state from a non-political interloper. That's the case Diana West makes and does it with her exceptional knowledge of the Cold War and the current jihad wars. Not to mention her deadly aim with her rhetorical darts.
  • Enough praise cannot be given for this work by Diana West. This a brilliantly researched and easily comprehensible presentation that completely lays out what this hoax of an investigation actually is...and the clear assistance any lover of this Republic (or freedom for that matter) needs in order to understand and act intelligently in response to this ongoing subversive activity. Buy it for the invaluable knowledge you will undoubtedly gain...as I have!
  • The Red Thread by Diana West
Diana states, “the anti-Trump conspiracy is not about Democrats and Republicans. It is not about the ebb and flow of political power, lawfully and peacefully transferred. It is about globalists and nationalists, just as the president says. They are locked in the old and continuous Communist/anti-Communist struggle, and fighting to the end, whether We, the anti-Communists, recognize it or not.”

Diana traces the Red Thread running through the swamp, she names names and relates the history of the Red players. She asks the questions, Why? Why so many Soviet-style acts of deception perpetrated from inside the federal government against the American electoral process? Why so many uncorroborated dossiers of Russian provenance influencing our politics? Why such a tangle of communist and socialist roots in the anti-Trump conspiracy?
In this book, these questions will be answered.

If you have read her book “American Betrayal,” I’m sure you will have a good idea about what is going on. I did. I just didn’t know the major players and the red history behind each of them.

The book is very interesting and short, only 104 pages, but it is not finished yet. Easy to read but very disturbing to know the length and width of the swamp, the depth, we may not know for a long time. I do feel better knowing that there are people like Diana uncovering and shining a light into the darkness. Get the book, we all need to know why this is happening and who the enemies are behind it. Our freedom depends on it.
  • This book really deals with our culture and how it’s changed and effects us.
  • With the exception of those people whose sole source of News and Information has been and remains the Main Stream Media (MSM), many thoughtful observers of the years since the “surprise” election of Donald Trump as President of the United States will want some answers about the Anti Trump Coup and Coup plotters that are more than just the Official Narrative. This fascinating and shocking book, “The Red Thread” supplies a compelling and convincing explanation for what has been and continues to be the most serious threat to our Republic in it’s entire history. This short pamphlet, a work in progress actually, and a continuation of the author’s previous Best Seller “American Betrayal” aims to supply those answers and succeeds very well with a riveting disclosure of little know facts and background material on the principal Coup conspirators. The “Red Thread” so to speak that binds them all together.
Sadly the cancer of International Communism, that came to this Country in the 1920s and perhaps earlier, despite the so-called “Fall of Communism” in 1989 is still with us. Only the name has changed. Read Socialism, Progressivism, Globalism, NWO, Liberalism...but I digress.
If the thoughtful observer has ever had any of the following questions about this Coup
    • Who is in charge? President Obama perhaps, or Hillary, or John Brennan, Comey or George Soros?
    • Is this only a domestic power struggle or are foreign actors and or governments involved?
    • Where are the Headquarters?
    • What is the real role of Putin’s Russia.
    • Do Russian espionage agencies and agents still operate in the United States?
    • Has Russia itself really changed in a more than superficial way since the “Fall of Communism”?
    • What is the extent of Anti American, Communist inspired behavior and thinking among American Academic and Media players?
Then the “Red Thread” will point you toward very plausible, evidence based answers. It’s a Rabbit Hole to be sure, but a necessary one to go down if we are to save this Country from a fate worse than death - enslavement.
  • The book is good so far, but I was supposed to get it free from the 1 book a month free offer. I was instead billed for it.

Christ Church Library, Oxford, possesses thirteen codices of medieval and early modern Hebrew manuscripts six secular texts – original works by Jewish scholars or Hebrew translations of Christian or Arabic works, many themselves versions of, or commentaries on, classical writings – and seven containing specifically Jewish works Rabbinics, Esoteric Kabbalah and Hekhalot Texts, Torah Homilies, the Khazar Correspondence and a Morality Play. The collection is currently being digitised and made available on the Library website. The Introductory Studies presented here are extensively illustrated and include full colour photographs of images from the codices themselves, as well as b/w images of the manuscripts’ watermarks. The Library’s Donors Book records gifts of Hebrew books and manuscripts from John Fell, Dean of Christ Church, at various times between 1660 and 1686. Fell was also the founder of the Oxford University Press and most probably acquired these Hebrew manuscripts from the Dutch brokers, booksellers and printers with whom he had dealings as part of his ambitious plans for the new University Press. These manuscripts include, inter alia The oldest manuscript version (16th century) of the Khazar correspondence containing the full texts of both Hasdai ibn Shaprut’s letter and the King’s reply. Two previously unknown works by Joseph Solomon Delmedigo the 17th century polymath and one-time pupil of Galileo a Responsum regarding the eligibility of a Ger (proselyte) to hold a position of coercive authority in the Amsterdam Jewish community and a polemic about the unwelcoming treatment of this Ger in particular and often of Gerim in general. A 15th century manuscript of Moshe ibn Tibbon’s Hebrew Translation of Al Hassar’s 12th century arithmetical treatise, Kitāb al Bayān, in which he first introduced the ‘fraction bar’ (vinculum) to separate the numerator and denominator in a fraction. A 15th century Hebrew Morality play – “Speech is Dumb” – about the evils articulated by speech and how to deal with them, whose protagonists include a King, his Wise Men, a Yemenite Scholar, Speech itself and Justice. An early 17th century tooled leather bound codex containing a mélange of Kabbalistic and Maimonidean texts. The Kabbalistic texts comprise drafts of an exposition on Sefer Yetzirah composed by Shlomo ben Shimon Turiel in Safed c.1570 that incorporate various Kabbalistic numerical arrays and pictorial depictions. The principle Maimonidean text is a version of the queries put to Maimonides by the Wise Men of Lunel and his replies to them. These texts are interspersed by orange coloured daubings, sketches and marginalia, as well as phonetically spelled Hebrew phrases perhaps the work of a 17th century follower of Christian Kabbalah.

He expects her to be surprised, confused, even overwhelmed. What he doesn’t expect is that Pet has a secret history of her own. There’s no mistaking the mind-blowing, mutual pleasure they share. But as Pet struggles to protect her nephew from a danger lurking too close to home, Santo realizes there’s another threat to her safety—him. And claiming their passionate future will be impossible until he leaves his past behind, forever…

Ebook The Trouble With Vampires An Argeneau Novel Lynsay Sands Books

"The Argeneau stories were a fun, sexy take on vampire books. They were never great literature but were a quick, entertaining read - much like a sitcom. The last few have deteriorated. Storylines have disappeared and the last couple have read like extended short stories. This book was the last straw for me. There was no story line. There was no beginning and no ending, just a series of vignettes of sex and violence and the violence was disturbing. I don’t read books like this for scenes of children being raped and burned alive.

I am disappointed and disturbed by the direction the author has taken."

The Trouble With Vampires An Argeneau Novel Lynsay Sands Books Reviews

    • The Argeneau stories were a fun, sexy take on vampire books.

I am disappointed and disturbed by the direction the author has taken.
    • I will admit freely that I read as an escape. I love these stories, which I started with book 23. I love her humor and have enjoyed her historical romances. You can jump in any time, but be aware, you may want to jump back then and read the first 28 books!

The action is fast, right from the start, the characters are deep and complex. Santo is cute with the problems he has talking at all, let alone to Pet. Pet is strong and capable, and I also liked that she knew about immortals. The storyline is action oriented with character development and super steamy scenes.

I guess the thing that surprises me is that no one is commenting about how much pain and suffering the characters are now dealing with from their previous lives. The addition of the Dr. Dressler problem to the series has added a lot more suffering than I remember from the previous stories. I am not so sure I can keep reading them if it keeps getting heavier and heavier, honestly. But I would hate to stop reading the series. I am going to have to read one of my go-to cheer-me-up books after this. In all it is a great story, but not a simple, escape read. This is not necessarily a pick-me-up story, for all there are some funny scenes in it. That is my only other comment about this book. If you have been reading the Argeneau series, you will want to read this. If you haven't, and enjoy a lot of action to your paranormal romance, and don't mind some heavier stuff, then give this a try!
    • And while I love all the books including this one, I find that it’s becoming books with filler and not enough romance. The filler can be anything from unnecessary descriptors or setting to ridiculous shenanigans by the extended cast of characters or villains.

This book had a great pre story for the male and female leads. And their getting to know you was wonderful to read. But I don’t get how so much can happen in 48 hours and then a turn happens. Not only that, it mostly occurs after the fifth percent mark in the book and just when you’re getting into the romance the book is over.

The first half of the book is a complete waste of writing and reading time. Nothing important happens besides introducing the characters to each other, then it’s all about the villain and NOT the couple I bought the book to read about. I mean I read so much unnecessary descriptions about how they moved or what the name of the food or wine is that I might as well read a cookbook! It’s all internal thoughts about mundanity I just kept rolling my eyes and leaving the book to play a game for a bit.

If it wasn’t because I’m so dedicated to this series and I know I’ll end up loving the book at the end I wouldn’t keep following this author. Her earlier books weren’t like this. I’m not sure what’s going on but I would really like a book with better pacing so the romance isn’t at the last half of the book. Which leaves me wanting a dozen epilogues to satisfy me. A book with less filler, seriously I don’t want to read about food in a romance. Duh! Smh. Or about every move they made with every position of every limb or eyelash for craps sake! It’s BORING!

Now the characters and their individual histories were barely touched upon and then the book was over. More development could have come from this to fill the book with more emotional angst. More deeper connections could have arisen from their storylines merging it was just such a waste of underutilization of the plot premise.

I still loved the characters and the last 40% of the book and will probably reread it again one day. The other ten percent was lame sex scenes. I think the author needs some help with these because they are so boring I tend to skip over them. They used to be hot. Now it’s all mechanics and dry. The author is either not getting any sex in years(!) or she’s all written out of material for this subject. Idk. Smh.
    • The Trouble With Vampires, Lynsay Sands' 29th Argeneau opus gives and gives, and keeps on giving. Santo is Old but oh, so clueless about women. One must speak above a grunt if one wants a snowballs chance in H🔥🔥🔥 with a mate! Pet is tiny and mighty and her past is guaranteed to spark all sorts of Now Whats and Epiphany Extravaganzas (mainly about Quinn). As soon as you read the part where Pet explains to Santo why she and her twin sister Quinn ended up living in America you'll get my excitement!

From the first page to the last you will find no waning or waxing in your devotion to Sands' addictive style. Her storyline, flow, characters, and all around real life/fantasy situations will draw you in and keep you best friends with The Trouble With Vampires until finally sighing in complete satisfaction.

*Note - Readers familiar with the Argeneau series had to have died right along with me when Pet starts mentally checking out Santo upon their first meet and greet. I'm like, Oh God, Stop! Stop! Everyone can hear you! No private thoughts equals no public appearances... ever.☠☠☠

*Note - Please Lynsay Sands - put me out of my misery... Will Quinn have her own book???

An Orphan in the Snow The heartwarming saga you need to read this year edition by Molly Green Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews

    • Dr. Barnardo’s homes were prevalent in England before, during and after W.W.II. “An Orphan in the Snow” by Molly Green is one novel in her series telling about one of the homes’ staff and children.

The story begins during W.W. II with June Lavendar’s recollection of her small sister’s death at the hands of her father. Although she is bound to the family to care for her sickly mother, after her death, June heads for her new job at Liverpool’s Dr. Barnardo’s home. On the train, to Liverpool, she bumps into RAF Flight Lieutenant Murray Andrews, thinking at the time how handsome he is, but wanting nothing to do with getting involved with any man.

Her arrival at the home is less than congenial because of the attitude of the Matron, who is called The Fierce One behind her back. June finds that Matron has no compassion or care for those children in her care. In particular, one little girl who has lost her whole family in the bombing does not speak, probably from the trauma of her loss. June tries to befriend her, against the wishes of the Matron and succeeds in helping the little one.

Lt. Andrews is not out of the picture either. He and she meet up again at a dance put on by the soldiers of the nearby camp and the townspeople. Their attraction is obvious, but both are reluctant to commit to anyone at this time of war.

June, in the meantime, is fighting for the children to have a better life than what Matron is providing for them. She makes it her personal business to see that all the children are aware of the fondness that the staff at the home feel for them. She wants them to have at least some semblance of normalcy in the crazy time of war.

I loved this book and have read more in the series by Ms. Green. I felt a part of the times when I read about them in this book. War is a nasty business and the most we can hope for is that the children are cared for. I will look for more novels by this author.
    • June had a horrible childhood and the loss of her younger sister by an abusive father haunted her. When a job came up as a nursery nurse at Dr. Barnardo's home for orphans, June saw this as a way to make up for Clara's death. Little did June know that she would soon face the evil matron of the house who to all apprearances seemed to hate kids.

This book had it all. The war was raging and things were rationed, the home was near an air base so we had dances with the soldiers and love interests. June was a character who was young and yet knew how to relate to children, even those with real problems caused by the horrors of war. The matron was developed as a character that you hated from the start. You wondered how young June was going to survive her when she seemed to clearly hate June and gave her jobs that were not a part of what the matron's assistant would be doing, while she avoided work herself. Luckily, Green also developed some characters that could help support June and clearly enjoyed their work with the children.

If I know that a book revolves around war, I tend to avoid it. I read my friend, Anita's review and thought that since our tastes were similar I would probably enjoy this one. She was right when she recommended it to me. It certainly deserved the rating that I gave it and gave you a glimpse of what war was like for the children.
    • Very good book! Can't wait till her next book, "An Orphan's War" is available! I love historical fiction and this one touches on a subject that is sometimes overlooked, the orphans that were affected by the second World War!! I highly recommend to anyone who likes historical fiction!!
    • I gave this book 3-1/2 stars as it didn't quite reach a 4-star status. There was so much repetitiveness. The same things were hashed around hundreds of times, misunderstandings, details given again and again. The book could've been a third shorter. This is an easy read, and it was very predictable. It was pleasant enough, but not very deep in thought or plot. I did like the main character, June. For 20 years old, though, she was able to handle things pretty well with only a few breakdowns here and there. However, she went through hard times when she was younger. The Matron was a stormy character. She was a good antagonist, but I wasn't satisfied with how things ended with her. There wasn't a solid reasoning. I won't say more so it's not spoiled for future readers. The cook was amiable, and Iris was good as June's friend. Being so different, they complemented each other. All in all, it was a pretty good story, but tedious with the repetiveness.
    • An Orphan in the Snow The heart-warming saga you need to read this year is written by Molly Green. This is the second in the series although it actually takes place before An Orphan’s War. Once you start reading, you can’t stop until you finish. Although it is fiction, it is based on the real-life orphanages set up by Dr. Barnado during the Second World War.
June Lavender left home to travel to Liverpool to work at Dr. Barnado’s orphanage there. She was a nursery nurse; so teaching children came next. She was to be the assistant to the Matron. This meant she did whatever the Matron told her to do. June saw a lot of things that needed to be changed at the Home but the Matron wouldn’t let her change anything. However, June did change things using a round about way to do it. She met Murray on the train to Liverpool and their romance had to be worked around the Matron. Miscommunication doesn’t help.
The book is very good and I highly recommend
